Terms of Service

  1. Caterer will arrive one (1) hour early for set up. If applicable, the buffet line will only be allowed to stay open for a hour and thirty (30) minutes before breaking everything down after everyone has went through the line. Under no circumstances is there an exception to this clause. Whatever food is left over is for the client to keep. The caterer is not responsible for any food left over. If you don’t want any of the food left over, we will donate it to Door of Hope. If any plates, beverage glasses, or utensils get damaged, the client is responsible for replacement. Please note that this is at the discretion of the Caterer. If client is providing cutlery, plates, napkins etc a $100 credit will be given.

  2. In exchange for the specified service, the client shall pay the caterer the total sum for the event by cash, cash app ($FOODFTSC), check or credit/debit card. All other services are available for an additional fee. Client agrees to pay Caterer a nonrefundable deposit to save the date. The deposit will be deducted from your remaining balance. The remainder of the balance and a final guest count is due no later than two (2) weeks before the date of the event. Any event less than a week must be paid in Full upon booking.

  3. In the event of cancellation of the function by the client, there is no refund under any circumstances. Client has the option to use credit for another date if available or another event. Client is not entitled to the sum advanced to Company for initiating the service as described. Please note that the discretion of future arrangements is left to FFTS Catering and Events.

  4. The caterer is only responsible for his/her equipment and supplies. The caterer will buss all tables of plates, silverware, and glasses. We will discard of all our garbage and make sure prep area/kitchen is in the same condition of how it was given to us. Caterer & staff are not allowed to remove any decor from tables.

  5. Food For Thought will now require a minimum of $600 in food & beverage to book a full service event on Sundays. (excludes Private Dinners) Any event booked with under 10 guest, a 20% gratuity will be added to all invoices.

  6. Food For Thought doesn’t provide linens. Linens must be provided by client.
